Glenwood Forest Trails

Glenwood State Forest trails are built and maintained by volunteers of the Orange Mountain Bike Club in partnership with Forestry Corporation of NSW for the enjoyment of the community. With over 400m of elevation difference to its highest point and amazing natural features, there are a variety of trails to suit everyone from beginner to advanced riders as well walkers and adaptive mountain bikes. Although set in a working pine forest the area still features excellent examples of the region’s original plant communities.

Meeting Point

The trail head is a 15 minute drive west of Orange on the Cargo Road. It’s on the corner of Cargo and Boree Roads opposite the Lidster Fire Station, please do not park in front of any sheds.
Please be aware Glenwood is a working pine forest, observe the forestry operations map on the trail head sign, stay out of exclusion zones, watch out for forestry vehicles and if driving around only use the designated shuttle routes.
